I started on the traditional web and moved into Web3 without leaving the fundamentals behind.
That combination is the point. Plenty of Web3 developers can call a contract but can't design a schema. Plenty of full stack developers can build a CRUD app but freeze when a transaction reverts. I do both, which is why my dApp work feels like a normal product rather than a wallet with a website attached.
I design the API contracts, write the queries, handle the deploy, and stay on for the post-launch fixes. Comfortable moving between a Next.js dashboard, a Nest.js service, a PostgreSQL query plan, and a subgraph in the same week.
I work async by default — written updates, clear commits, demos at each milestone — and I hand over documentation good enough that another developer can take over without calling me.

No — a large share of my work has no chain in it at all. Dealership financing flows, booking systems, catalog platforms. If a project doesn't need a blockchain, I'll say so rather than sell you one.
Yes, that's the usual setup. I take the ABIs and deployed addresses, build the interface and data layer around them, and flag anything in the contract surface that would make the frontend or indexing awkward before it's locked.
Nest.js when the service will grow, needs clear module boundaries, and other developers will work in it. Express when the surface is small and structure would just be overhead. I explain the trade-off before committing either way.
Yes. I start with the paths that break most expensively — auth, payments, transactions, deployment — stabilise those, then build features on top instead of around them.
I work from UTC+5, which overlaps a full working day with Europe and mornings with the US East Coast. Async by default: written updates, clear commits, calls only when a decision needs one.
